Parish Clergy
Canon Edward O'Connell
Canon O'Connell was born in Cork City on 10th September 1948,
being the youngest of four children of Edward and Eileen O'Connell.
He studied for the Priesthood at St. John's College, Waterford and
was ordained at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Waterford on 1st June
1980.
Canon Eddie has served as a Priest in the Archdiocese of
Cardiff at St. Theresa's in Port Talbot, St. Helen's in Barry and
St. Francis in Ely. He subsequently became Parish Priest of St. Anne's in Newport, The Immaculate Conception in Treorchy and St. John Lloyd in Cardiff before being appointed our current Parish Priest in October 1999.
Father Richard Reardon
Father Reardon was appointed as Assistant Priest following the amalgamation of the Parishes of St. Teilo's and Our Lady of Lourdes into a single Parish in 2006.
