The Parish Knit and Natter group will meet in St. Teilo’s Hall on Thursday 17th July following the 10.00am Mass. All are welcome to come along and join in the knitting or the nattering or both!
St. Teilo’s Friends of Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets on Saturday, July 19th at 2.30pm in the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to come along to pray for the parish and the intentions of the parishioners.
We will have coffee and tea in the St. Pope John Paul II Chapel at Our Lady of Lourdes after the 10.00am Mass on Wednesday 16th July . If you are at Mass on that day, please stay behind and spend some time socialising and sharing with our fellow parishioners.
Anointed Fire Catholic Ministries and Cardiff University Catholic chaplain Father John Patrick Thomas are jointly hosting a dynamic Eucharistic healing afternoon including talks, great youth ministry, lively music, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Mass on Friday, July 25th from 2pm to 6pm at Nazareth House. A big welcome is extended to everyone of all ages and especially the young people of our communities.
The Good Vibrations Chorus, a singing group, supported by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Parkinson’s UK, to help people better manage their Parkinson’s symptoms, along with the City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) Community Brass Band, will have its summer concert at St. Teilo’s on Tuesday, July 22nd at 7.00pm. Tickets will be £8, with children attending for free. Tickets will be available on the door.
Due to Canon John’s short break and the Chapter of Canons’ meeting on Friday, there will be no Adoration at St. Teilo’s on Tuesday or Friday this week.
A Parish Centenary Pilgrimage Walk will take place on Saturday, August 2nd at 12.45pm. The walk is from St. Teilo's to Llandaff to visit the tomb and well of our Parish Patron, St. Teilo, ending the afternoon at a local pub. To express your interest in joining the pilgrimage, please sign the form at the back of each Church.
The Parish Loss and Bereavement Café continues on Wednesday. The Café is for anyone dealing with loss and you will find a cuppa and warm welcome waiting for you. Remember your loss does not have to mean bereavement. It can be any kind of loss you are feeling and perhaps with which you are struggling. The Café takes place on Wednesday from 1.30pm to 3pm in St. Teilo’s Parish Hall. Weekly attendance is not required. Come as and when you are able.
The next Parish Bingo Evening takes place on Friday, July 18th . The door will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Chip shop supper optional - order on the night. Bingo is £7. Proceeds to the Reaching Out project. All are welcome to come along to this fun event.
The Parish indoor physical activity group takes place this Tuesday in the Hall at St. Teilo’s from 12 to 1pm. Walk and Talk The Walk and Talk group meets on Wednesday evening at 6pm at the car park in Caedelyn Park. All are welcome to come along and join the group.
