St. Mary’s Gardens – Open Day
For the past five years, volunteers and members of the Friends of St. Mary’s Gardens have been working to restore the gardens in the site of Old St. Mary’s Church, opposite St. Teilo’s. The Friends are holding an Open Day in the garden, today,
Sunday, July 9th, to which everyone is welcome. During the Open Day, the newly appointed Cardiff Parks Ranger, Rhodri Hughes, will be organising activities in the Gardens from 10am until 3pm – these will include a Family Trail, a Gnome Hunt, a Photographic exhibition and a sale of plants. In addition, Garden Tours will take place at 12 and 2pm.
