I am writing on behalf of the Whitchurch Rhiwbina and Birchgrove Monthly Worship. Chris was an integral part of our Monthly Worship and we visited St Teilo’s in November every year. Our Worship Group was started by the late Rev’d David Clark of Ararat following the closure of the Whitchurch Rhiwbina and Birchgrove Council of Churches. After a few years, the Rev’d Clark retired and I became the Organiser and Chris Lewis the Assistant Organiser. Chris was so helpful when I first took over and I owe her many thanks for her wise words. I know how involved Chris was in the work of St. Teilo’s and I am sure she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Personally I have known Chris since 1972 and her husband and family. Margaret Ellmes – Organiser Whitchurch, Rhiwbina and Birchgrove Worship Requiem Mass – Christine Lewis The Requiem Mass for Christine Lewis, our friend and faithful parishioner, takes place at 11am on Friday, April 12th . I am sure many of us will attend Mass to pray for Christine’s eternal soul – May she rest in peace.
